AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION / ALERTS
In production environments there are scenarios that require immediate notification of certain persons or groups. When entering a specific machine state it can for example be necessary to alert the maintenance in order to keep the production up and running. FACTORYMINER allows you to setup automatic notifications, triggered by user-defined machine states or other measures (e.g. temperature). The variety of possible message types ranges from simple emails to automatic maintenance order in your maintenance system.
ANDON BOARDS
Andon boards are used to concisely visualize production data for your machine operators in real time. This ensures that the operators are supplied with all relevant information to be able to respond to any critical event in a timely manner. Today flat panel displays are commonly used for this purpose because they allow to present various information just as needed. Below are two example scenarios for the use of Andon boards:
- Example 1: If one machine operator controls several machines an Andon board can be used to have a clearly visible central display which shows all relevant information of this machines.
- Example 2: With Andon boards the production staff can be informed about the actual and the target production quantities of the current shift. Thus, the production staff is always informed about its performance and can react immediately in case of deviations.
